Open Work Permit, Travelling outside and returning

Hi all,

I have this question here for my friend. I would like to know if apply open work permit while PR application is in process and BOWP is approved, will we get both extended Work Permit and Visa on passport or do we need to apply for Visa separately? If you have come across with the situation, please share.

Thanks twztedelegance. So applying for BOWP, we will get only extended work permit. For applying for TRV, do we need to apply in the CIC website itself?
