Hi, I got refusal for my open work permit visa on July 22. which i had applied for extension with my spouse PGWP her work permit got approved but mine got refused for following reason.
[X] After considering all the circumstances of your case, it has been determined that you are not a person whose employment will create or maintain significant employment, benefits or opportunities for Canadian citizens or permanent residents.
You have not provided sufficient evidence to prove that your spouse is employed in an occupation that falls within the National Occupation Classification Skill level of 0, A or B.

I reapplied with proper Job Title, Teer Category, NOC code, and roles and responsibilities with employment reference letter, offer letter, pay stubs, bank statements and resume too. I am out of my status right now. So what is the timeline & alternative routes for it. I stopped my work immediately after this refusal.

Please any suggestions or info would be really appreciable.

So you reapplied with your spouse’s job letter, TEER 1-3 and pay stubs? That is what IRCC wants. There are not timelines but you need to change your status to visitor to maintain status.

Yes, I reapplied with all the necessary details. if i apply for visitor visa, then can i change my visitor visa to SOWP inland? and if i applied for visitor visa then is my work permit application will get delay?

You are changing your status to visitor, not a TRV. Once you get a decision on your SOWP, you can change your status.

Got it, good to hear that, but i have a question here. if i got a visitor visa, according to Visitors can continue to apply for work permits inside Canada with temporary policy extended by 2 years. can i change my status through flag polling?
