Open Work Permit Eligibility.

Dear All,

Could someone help me out with this query. I received my ITA in the last (10th) draw and am currently getting ready to submit the application.
I am a postdoctoral researcher in a University. My Current work permit lasts till March 2016, However I am leaving my job here at the end of August and will need to go back to my home country. Is it now possible for me to apply for a open work permit. Am I eligible to apply for a Open Work permit?

Hopefully You will get PR before March 2016 as you just need to submit documents.
Moreover, You can always extend your work permit when you receive the second AOR in Express Entry which is required to submit application for Open WP extension.
