I recently graduated from Seneca College from International Business. I got 3 years work permit, OPEN EA, ANY EMPLOYER. As well it says that "unless authorized, must not attend any educational institution or take any academic, professional or vocational training course." However, I want to do LLQP course at Olivers school, it is 3 weeks long, and at the end I will do final exam at school and week after provincial exam so I can be allowed to work as insurance agent (I already got position in a company). Am I allowed to take this course? Whom should I contact about this?

You can contact CIC at 1-888-242-2100, but I called them to ask the same question about the CSC exam and they said it was okay to take. However CSC isn't at a University or school, it is self-study so I imagine that is why it's okay.

Usually you have to stay on hold for 10-15 minutes before you are able to connect with a live person.

Oh OK, thx.

BTW I found on immigration website this:

"If you wish to study in a short-term course or program
You do not need a study permit if you plan to take a course or program in Canada that lasts six months or less. You must complete the course or program within the period authorized for your stay in Canada.

Even if you do not need a study permit, it is a good idea to apply for a permit before you come to Canada. If you decide that you want to continue your studies in another program after you complete your short-term course or program, you must apply through a Canadian visa office outside Canada for a study permit if you do not already have one."

there is a link:
cic.gc.ca/english/study/study-who.asp
So I guess I am fine
