Open Work Permit Application

Hello..I am on VV living in Canada with husband and applied open work permit online. File got rejected due to. My spouse does not falls into NOC skill levels however he does fall into B category.Documents Uploaded:: a) IMM5710 & IMM5257 b) Digital Photo c) Marriage Certificate d) Letter Of Explanation e) Passport. Really confused now. Should I go for paper based or apply online again. Pls advise urgently.

I assume your husband is here on a work permit of some sort (i.e. he is not Canadian)? Assuming he is here on a work permit - what sort of work permit? A closed work permit based on an LMIA or something else? What is his NOC? What do you mean by a "letter of explanation"?

Yes, he is working in Canada and has open work permit and expires on 16th May 2017...National Occupational Classification and falls in B category.

Did you provide a letter from his employer confirming he is employed full time and his occupation? Did you provide at least one pay slip to prove he is working?

No , we did not provide either of the things as these weren't asked on online applications. So do you think these were one of the reason for rejection for my Open Work permit ?

Okay.But CIC did not ask us to upload these documents nor they didn't ask us.I don't know how should I go about it ??? What would you suggest Should I apply it online again or go for paper based application.
