Open work permit and PR application for Spouse

Hi All,

I have a situation in here. I am currently working as a permanent employee in NOC -A category on Open Work Permit which is valid till September 30 2019.

I have got this Open Work Permit based on my wife's study permit which is also valid till September 30th 2019. Her Masters is getting completed on 20th August 2019.

I have the following questions:

1. Can she go to the border and get her PWGP and then can she apply for a PR application along with my Open Work Permit extension application?
2. Can she apply for her PGWP application at the border along with my Open Work permit extension?

In both the above mentioned cases, can I continue to work for my current employer?
