my timeline here:
OINP received--Oct 31 (Master Stream. No restrictions.)
PR Submitted--Nov 4
PR received---Nov 10
My current post-graduate work permit expires in mid Jan (it's only one year), which leaves me no time to wait for AOR since they now take 3-4 months. Even i submit my bowp at the last week before expiry, it would still be likely that by the time they reached their decision, (which normally takes 1-1.5 months), my AOR would still not have been processed.
Does that mean i would definitely not be able to work afterwards? Is there any other alternatives?
My job offer is permanent full time and is from a major Canadian company.
I would love to hear about similar cases where you/your friends got an extended work permit while AOR is still being processed.
