I came here on a 3 year closed work permit on intra compnay transfer. My spouse has a visitir visa (V1) for the same duration. However I wish to convert her

visitor visa to an open work permit..

Request your help to please clarify my query ....

While applied for Vistor visa, she didnt mention any previous job experience information in the visitor application. Her intention at the time of applying is

to not work here in Canada, Now when she want to apply for Open work permit, Please advise if she can disclose the previous job experience in order to apply

for open work permit and for PR also.

Please let me know the process to apply online on my own without any consultants in converting my visa.
Shall be highly obliged.

Depending on where you live, you can go to the border and flagpole. Or u can apply online. Applying online takes longer but otherwise the process is same. She needs to get a medical done and needs police clearance certificates from any country she has lived in for a year or more and financial support documents. Along with ur status documents here.

Hi
You will need to carry all that you have mentioned. To lacole-champlain border you have to go to.
You need police verification from all the countries your wife has stayed in for more than a year. Every country has different process. You must enquire in her home country.
You need to take the medical report or the reference number for it, it must not be done 6 months before the day you go there.
You just go to the border. Not enter usa, tell them you just wanna go back to canada and apply for owp there.
Additionally:
Take your bank statement
Take a letter of explanation
Take the photocopy of her entire passport
Take a passport size photo

About the form. I used the online form so I am not sure about the form number. Sorry.
