Open Spousal Work Permit

Hi,

I am currently working in Canada as a software engineer. My work permit is valid till July 2013.
My husband is in India currently and I'm planning apply for a dependent visa/open work permit through my company from India.
I have all application forms for applying dependent visa(TRV - IMM5257E, IMM5257B)), however how can I specify that he needs an open work pemit?
Is there any separate application form for it ? I was searching for it, but could not find any useful informtion. Please kindly advise.
Could I use IMM1295E(application form for an open work permit made outside of canada) and specify the type of work permit as 'OWP' along with the TRV application forms?
Also, any idea how long this process takes in order to get the visa/OWP?

You need to use the IMM1295E (download from VFS website). Please specify Spousal Work Permit in the column where it asks you the type of work permit you would like to apply to.

The processing time may vary from a month to two depending on the number of applicants at CHC, ND.
