open permit, pr application

hi guys,,i have a friend and shes been here in Canada for 3 years and she want to apply her open permit and pr this coming april but the problem is when she submit her papers here to work in Canada 2008 she put single eventhough shes already married 2006 cuz shes not in good terms with her husband that year and until now she still use status single everytime she renew work permit and visa. she still use single cuz she don't want to messed up her papers what she submit before.what bother her maybe the Canadian embassy do the background check for her status when she will submit her application for pr and open permit and shell be deported..help guys your help much appreciated..thank you

If CIC find out that she was in fact married but she declared single. She will be in a huge trouble and in a mess. She will get refused because of misrepresentation and she will get deported. You have to be honest with CIC ...
