open lmo

Hi there guys i need some advice here.

My work permit is already expired last May 31 2012. My employer apply for lmo but taking so long that I'm almost done with my 90days grace period. And now i found a new employer who wants to hire me and they have open lmo...Im just wondering how that works? Coz some of my friends say it would take like 2 to 3days just to get the lmo if its OPEN LMO.

open lmo is an unnamed lmo approved. if the company is interested to you and will really hire you, all they have to do is name the open lmo then they will submit it to the cic to process and award it to you as putting your name on it as ready lmo papers. i think resending to cic then returning it to the employer will take 1 week to 2 weeks at max. after getting the lmo with your name on it you can now process wp with restoration. at least you are safe a little of even if your 90 days grace period be consumed; you have papers that is on going. but then you are not yet of the hook unless you will get your restoration and new wp as approved. if not approve; that's the sad part!

thanks for that wonderful advice...so its not sure yet hey? that it can be rejected still? oh God getting depressed with this paper stuff...I hope for the best coz time is running so fast 30days more left on my grace period.
