Open a Business while in Study Permit

Can I open a business while on a study permit I have a co-op permit as well and want to know otherwise can I be a partner in a running business while on a study permit in BC Canada

You can own or invest in a business on a study permit, but you can't actively work in it unless authorized. Best to confirm with IRCC or an immigration lawyer.

Yes but you would be limited to 24hrs/wk per week. Being self-employed will not give you points to qualify for Canadian experience which you need to consider after you graduate.
