Hi

i have completed one year with noc code 9232 and now i am eligible for CEC so what is the way to file PR?

there is this new rule OOPNP where it says it require 400 points in express entry and u can get P/T notification and then apply under CEC with those additional 600 points it also says u require to show funds ?

my question is i am currently working in canada with same noc code so do i require to show funds? if yes does it mean i have to wait six more months to file and register express entry?

Check the OOPNP application guide. Read the funds section and follow the link. From that I am guessing that CEC candidates probably don't need to show funds. But go through the document to be fully sure.

Anyone applying under PNP human capital priorities stream has to show Proof of Funds.

In other words both CEC and FSW have to show POF.
I called Ontario Immigration and this is what they told me.

Cec applicants dont need to provide fund if they are setteled in canada with a job. You can provide your paystubs and job letter. Are you working in a pharmaceutical compnay?

Have you called Ontario Immigration ?

At least this is what they told me on call and even replied to my email.
Try calling them and see if they say yes or no.

i knw some one else called n was told no proof of funds required for cec, n u also need a bac or masters degree to apply under OOPNP

This is so frustrating

I called today and asked specifically that I came as international student and graduated and now working full time skilled job.

Agent replied: because you are applying under Human Capital Priority you do have to show fund. I mean seriously we have been living in Ontario for almost 5 years now and still they want to see the settlement funds. I am already settled here.
