Due to Federal level changes to the issuance of temporary work permits, as of June 20th, 2015, OOPNP no longer has the authority to issue open work permit support letters to nominees. Does this mean, OOPNP applicants who are currently in open work permit, can only use BOWP to extend the work permit with AOR of PR application? In my case, I'm still waiting for PNP for 4 months now. My open work permit is expiring on September. There is a high possibility that my post graduate work permit will be expired.
What are my options here? My company is not ready to apply for LMIA. What are the alternatives?
