Hi,
While filling out the OOPNP Work/Personal History in the application form:

What NOC code to select while you were 'Unemployed' and when you were a 'Student'?
I put NA, and the system prompts me to 'enter a valid NOC code'

I am completing the fillable application form online. I am filling out the following Section:

Section D Part 3:
3. Personal and Work History (Principal Applicant Only) *
Provide the details of your personal and work history since the age of 18, or the past 10 years, whichever is most recent. Start with the most
recent information. Under “Occupation”, write your occupation or job title if you were working. If you were not working, provide information on
what you were doing (for example: unemployed, studying, travelling, retired, etc.). Attach supporting documentation for each employment entry
(reference letters, workbooks, etc.). Please ensure that you do not leave any gaps in time. Use a separate sheet if necessary.
Note: only relevant paid work experience will be assessed.

Dates (mm/dd/yyyy)
From To Name of Employer, School, Facility (as applicable) City/Country Occupation NOC Code

Please help!
Thanks.

Wouldn't it be a good idea to have personal information in a separate spread sheet, there by avoiding these kind of mishaps in the application form?

If it's too much of trouble, just write 'refer attached sheet' and put all the details in a separate sheet in the same format and mention all your details. This is acceptable.

Hi,
OK, so if you were to attach a separate sheet:
Do personal history and work history have to be shown as separate entities?

I understand that there are no gaps allowed in personal history. So, basically you would write the work history, and fill in the gaps to account for whatever you were doing during that time - so that it is one continuous list of events since 18 years of age. Wouldn't attaching an additional separate work history be redundant?

Another thing while we're at it: If you have a single document that shows Ontario ties, employment etc., would you put multiple copies of it in the application next to each of the sections or just refer to it?

Please pitch in.
Thanks

Work History and Personal History have to be shown as two separate entities. I believe the main purpose of them requesting the same info in multiple places is to see if you are consistently replying the same thing. Hence, please have them as separate as they have asked them separate even though it's redundant.

If I were you, I would put multiple copies of it at the respective places. I would not mind to add few additional pages to make it very clear to them (Would better be safe than being sorry).

As suggested by other forumites, separate each logic section by some color sticky's. Hence, would never mind to put the same thing again in the next section.

Makes sense! Thanks.
