Ontario PNP with Job Offer (Inter firm transfer)

Hi, ive received a job offer (inter firm transfer) case.

I will be joining a Big4 accounting firm in Toronto.

My profile score is reaching above 500 with my spouse.

Can you please advise me if I can straight away apply for PNP draw for Ontario (Employer offer scheme) ?

What are the chances of getting a PR and how long can it take?

Are you counting 50 points for job offer? If your job is LMIA exempt (intra company) then you can’t count the 50 points. Is the employer eligible and willing to support the PNP application. What stream?

Is your employer ready to support the nomination and complete the Employer Form? Large employers sometimes aren't willing to go through this process. Have they agreed to this already?

2. I will join as a Auditor so i guess my NOC should be " 1111 - Financial auditors and accountants”

3. I Am considering employer job offer? Is there any other stream I can apply for quick turnaround?

4. Please advise why i cant claim score for job offer? CRS calculator says

What stream for OINP? Are you applying through EE and have a profile?

1. For both you need a work permit. LMIA exemption is a intra transfer showing the office has not Canadian or PR to do the job. The LMIA process can be long and employer has to prove that no Canadians or PRs could be hired. Then with LMIA, you file for closed work permit.
2. Look at whether you would be nominated under Human Capital Stream
3. No quick turnaround. You need to decide which stream you are applying for. There are about 9 OINP streams.
4. For LMIA exemption, you cannot count points until working for one year in Canada. What is your true CRS score?

1. Both the employer as mentioned above take less than a month for LMIA process. Recently a colleague went for one of these firm with LMIA and his process was completed within 1.5 months. For Intra firm transfer, as per your message it seems as an easy route since there will be no LMIA exemption. My spouse will be provided with a open work permit by my employer, he need not apply seperately.
2. To apply for this stream, I assume i would need 1 year canadian experience to claim 50 points under LMIA exemption? I have NOC A skill level and 5 years international accounting/auditing experience, Do you think there will be another stream where I can apply earlier e.g. FSW if the draws open soon OR any other provincial scheme?

In case I take the job offer with LMIA, would it put more weightage on my application?

My CRS without Job offer is 467

You have a few options:

1. LMIA exemption: Once employer has approval, you apply for closed work permit. You can’t count extra 50 points until you have one year Canadian experience. With 467, you may be eligible for Human Capitals Stream or Job Offer Stream.
2. LMIA: Once you have LMIA and then you apply for closed work permit. Processing may be longer. With the LMIA, you can count 50 points. As above you may be eligible for Human Capitals Stream or Job offer stream.

You need to read through the OINP requirements.
