Ontario PNP - Graduduation does not match with Work Experience

Hi All,

I have received an invitation in Ontario PNP. My NOC code is 2174 as I am working as a Software Developer. I have couple of questions which require urgent attention:

- My B.Tech is in 'Electronics & Communication' but I am working in IT. Does it impact my chances of getting selected? I have more than 9 years of experience in IT and all is in NOC 2174.

- Is NOC 2174 regulated in Canada ? Though according my search it is not but still I need a confirmation from you senior folks.

2174 is not regulated and you are ok to apply. Go ahead.

Last thing, I need to know is about the difference in B.Tech stream and work experience. I have done B.Tech in Electronics and communication but working in software industry. Will it have a negative impact on my application ?
