Ontario PNP after work permit

Hi,

I am from India and I came to Canada 3 months back on a closed Work permit. My employer applied from LMO here in Canada and once it got approved, I got my work permit. I am an IT professional and therefore I think I belong to Federal skilled category which prevents me to apply for Permanent Residency.

I want to know that as I am already here in Canada on work permit, can I apply for Permanent Residency through PNP or any other process immediately? If yes, do I need any submission/letter from employer to proceed with it?

you canapply for Ontario PNP through your employer if you have a permanent job in Ontario.
