I have an urgent querry regarding Ontario PNP programme, my son graduated in june 2009 from University of Waterloo, he got a permenant job in Toronto, started working since 22nd of July, now he wants to apply for canadian immigration, I am just wondering in which category should he apply, whether PNP,CEC or FSW,at the moment I think he is eligible for Ontario PNP,when I read the details,as far as I got, that is Empoyer Driven, I think it will be initiated by the employer,my son says, he does not think employer even bothers to fulfil such formalities,Can anybody had any experience in this regard. What are the formalities supposed to do by employer, and also can he sponsor his parents in future if he choose Ontario PNP, Which category should he choose to apply and when. I highly appreciate, for a prompt reply.

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
If his employer does not want to sponsor him under PNP or he doesn't want to ask, he can either work for a year to get his work experience and then apply under FSW category 3 or if his studies were 2 or more years, he could at the same point apply under CEC. For FSW, he needs 67 points but for CEC, only 2 years studies and 1 years work or if his studies were shorter than 2 years, add another year of work.

Whichever way he chooses to get PR, he can sponsor his parents later if he has enough income but sponsorship of parents generally takes a while, say 3-4 years.
