My study permit will expire in three months after I graduate. I'm concerned about the following:
- If I change my status to a visitor before my study permit expires, will it immediately become invalid?
- Should I apply for a visitor record at least 30 days before my study permit expires? Could I risk illegal status if I apply too late? The Masters Stream EOI withdrawal period is one to three months.
- Can I apply for a visitor record, leave Canada a few days before my study permit expires, and then return with a visitor visa after receiving the visitor record?
