The Ontario Drive Test website states you must exchange your foreign driver's license for an Ontario license within 60 days of arriving in Ontario.

What if the 60 day period has passed? Can you no longer exchange?

Thanks

Bumping this, wondering if anyone had an answer.

I am curious for a definite answer also. I've been living in Canada for 15 years but never exchanged my NY license because I don't drive here. Now I am considering getting a car hence looking into exchanging my license.

I believe the 60-day rule is that after 60-days of arriving, you must exchange your license if you wish to continue to drive in Ontario. But I am not 100% sure.

In Alberta I drove with my mexican and an International driving licence, for 1 year. I guess you need to go to a licence office and ask.
The international driver licence is easy to get online.
For people of the USA is easy, is only an exchange due to an international agreement.
