Ontario: Different country of citizenship and driving licence

As i studied in Malaysia,i have my driving licence from Malaysia (2+ year experience).However,i am not a citizen of Malaysia.

1.Will this create any problem when self-declaring 1 year experience

2.Even if i get a certificate of authenticity from the Malaysian high commission for 2+ year experience,will that be valid,as i am not a citizen/permanent resident of Malaysia.

Anyone has any idea about this?

I called the MoT Ontario. They said it won't be an issue.
