Only the main applicant land in Canada before the COPR expired

Hi all Gents,

I would like to know if the IRCC allow the only applicant land in the Canada before the COPR expired be confirmed as PR without carry wife and children.
and if the wife and children cannot land on time before the COPR expire, if the I can re-apply the family reunite for them when satisfy the reequipments.

The husband (main applicant) can land alone and then sponsor them for immigration afterwards. The sponsor will have to be living in Canada during the process with minimal traveling outside the country..

Why you don't you (main applicant) come with them ( your family) in Canada just validate/Activate their COPR and put them ON the next flight to their home country ? The jargon here on the forum is Soft land.

This way, they become PR and have up to 2.5 years (buffet 0.5 year since it is 3 out 5 years) to organize their return.
I would highly suggest you NOT to LET their COPR expire and opt to activate their COPR instead even you are not ready to settle here in Canada now. If you can, (Even borrow money) just buy around trip tickets for the same day or the days after to validate/activate their COPR. They can come back to Canada at anytime after their COPR activated.

This is not the response you needed since you talked about re-apply; but this is the efficient way to think if money, settlement organization period are the 2 main problems regarding your immigration to Canada.

Just think about it since a friend did that and regret it. 5 years later, his family still blocked in their home country.

Your friend just didn't have the determination to become Canadian citizen before returning to home country to be with the rest of family. I have an acquaintance who reunited with her husband after she became Canadian citizen. She can sponsor her husband for Immigration to Canada anytime she desires, whether she is living in Canada or while she is living outside Canada.

You didn't understand what I was saying about my friend. He did the same thing as OP which means he preferred sponsor his family- instead of activating their COPR. Right after he landed, he launched the process to sponsor his family who stayed in their home country. The pandemic didn't help them them either. He became Canadian citizen long time ago but this change anything in the process except he can stay in his home country if he wants but he chose to stay and work in Canada in order to prepare for their settlement when they obtain their PR.

*** Money wise***Sometimes people have money issue and try not to disclose that on a public forum. If this happen to someone, I would encourage him to activate the COPR no matter what even barrow money and by a round trip ticket. I was not saying that money was the ONLY or the MAIN problem... That was a possibility.. OK
