Hello everyone,
We are looking to apply online for a visitor visa for my girlfriend from Venezuela. We've known eachother for close to a year, and went on a trip together for a week in February, and I would like her to visit for 2 weeks this summer if possible, here in Canada.
I have a question about translating some documents. She has two children, so we thought it would be good to include their birth certificates in the application. They are in spanish though, so we would need to have them translated.
We also have a civil registration paper of hers with her address to have translated.
My question is as such:
I am unsure what sort of translation to ask for to be done.
Under the glossary for translation we find:
Would this apply for an online application as well?
Do I need it notirized or an affidavit from a Canadian certified translator is enough?
Do we need to have a photocopy certified, or is a picture/scan of the paperwork before translation sufficient?
Thank you all!!
