Online Visitor Visa Application-Medicals Requested

Hello All,
I had applied for single entry visitor visa for my parents and today we received medicals request(online)

Few questions:

a.I read on CIC website that medicals are not required for visitors travelling for less than 6 months.I am wondering why did we receive medicals request?
b.My mother went through an angioplasty 8 months back.Is she required to submit her reports etc to DMP about pre-existing illness etc?Will it have an impact on her getting approved?Will a clearance letter from her doctor help?
c.What is the lead time between medicals completion and request for passport?

if you are a Canadian or PR holder your parents are eligible to get super visa. for that you no need the medical report. simply apply the visa.
