Online Visitor Visa application in India

Hello friends,

I am a PR and would like my parents to get a visitor visa to visit me this summer. My parents do not live in a location with VFS facility so I would like to have them apply online to save them a trip. Does anyone on this forum have successful experience with online application process for visitor visa in India? If so, can you indicate whether there are difficulties with online application?

Also if I assist them with the application and pay their fee, should I be named as a representative and fill out form IMM 5476. Is this a complicated process?

Online application for applicants residing in India is waste of time and money

i have applied online using myCIC and it allows you to upload only few forms and you will wait indefinitely to know your visa gets rejected for invalid reasons.

Please make some effort to submit paper application to VFS office and they will provide tracking number for visa application.

Please dont make online submission, as New Delhi Visa office is pathetic.
