Online visitor visa application from Ludhiana, India

Hi Experts

I applied for my tourist visa online on 21Oct'15,
I have received 2 emails from CIC that your application has been updated but nothing has been done so far and my file is still open.

I need to go urgently as my daughter is due for delivery in December. I have sent emails to email addresses provided on CIC website but the auto-responder has 30 days waiting time. Does anyone know how long will it take as it is way over 23 days processing time now and i have no information about my visa.

You can send a Case Specific Enquiry to: https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/case-cas-eng.aspx?mission=chandigarh requesting an early decision.

Hope you've not stated your purpose of visit as *wanting to take care of your daughter and newborn grandchild*. CIC does not like this because it means working illegally even if it is unpaid
