Hi All,

As I work on filling out my citizenship application online, I had a few questions -
(i) Under the Physical Presence section, the application requires a file to be uploaded for the "Physical Presence Calculator". Is there a specific format the file must be uploaded in (PDF, Word, CSV et al)? Alternatively, once the calculator has been filled out with entries, are there specific instructions on how this calculator can be uploaded directly in to the application?

(ii) For the Eligibility end date does the date need to be in the near future? I'm filling out the application with a date in December and the system flags it as an error? The system also seems to use the current date (as I fill out the application) while validating the Address entries and flags that there is a missing time period even though I've entered entries for my 5 year eligibility period?

(iii) Under the Occupation or Activity section, does the work location need to reflect where you physically worked? In my case, the physical work location changed two times and the firm has since then moved to an entirely new location which has been designated as the HQ. Should I be filling out the HQ address, or the last worked location?

(iv) Under the Immigration & Citizenship status section, I observed the following -
(a) United Kingdom is not listed as a country under the dropdown (Options provided are - England, Scotland, Wales). Considering that I hold more than one UK VISA should I select the country that I was visiting?
(c) I've held transit VISAs for the UK - do these need to be entered as well?
(b) I held a business visa (Type C) for Germany (The VISA was used for work travel). What option in the dropdown (Visitor, Worker, Foreign National, Other) should I select?

Many thanks!

Physical presence- print a pdf(you don’t need to sign this document (digitally or by hand)
Eligibility date - the “To” should be a day before you submit the application. You can validate the date once you have completed the application on the day you are submitting the application form
Work history - you can include the last location (eg the firm I work for has HQ in Oakville but I work at a location in Vaughan)
Immigration and Citizenship statues - I would suggest to include all the visa including visit, business, tourist visa along with any residence, work visas you would have obtained. I used to travel to German since 2011 onwards every year(sales conferences, trade shows etc) and I included it as a visitor visa
