Online application submitted and cic requested passport

Hi, i have applied online for myself and for my spouse. Cic requested me to send passports to newyork vac.
I want to know following things.

1) do i need to send 2 separate passport delivery mo?
2)can i send both passports (me and wife) in a single envelope?
3)do i need to send contact information separately?

I would send everything in one envelope if your online submission was all in one application.
