Online application questions - Which options to chose for proof of income?

Hi everyone,

I am just going through the online application process for super visa and I am getting these options:

* All fields are mandatory

Which document(s) are you using to prove that your child or grandchild meets the Low Income Cut Off minimum? Help
Most recent copy of Notice of Assessment
Most recent copy of T4 or T1
Letter from employer stating title, job, description and salary
Employment insurance benefit stub
If self employed, letter from accountant confirming annual income
Proof of other source of income

I have T4 and I am self-employed and wife has another new job from which she can provide pay stubs. I am not sure why it says "all fields mandatory". Is that really mandatory? or does Notice of Assessment by itself suffices?

IMM5484 doesn't have that "all fields are mandatory".

I am going through creation of my GCKey and ultimately MyCIC account. These options were presented to me as I was going through requirement check. They are all check boxes and allow you pick one or more. It seems to be an optional thing as they all complement each other in evidence. I am wondering what the norm is in providing amount of information.

Can you provide the link? Or a screenshot? I can't think of any reason why would the system would care to ask these questions if you are just creating an account that is made to handle all sort of applications.

You are probably right on this but I thought there is no Super Visa specific online application. I have started from here and selected applicant has children or grand-children in Canada which I think guided me towards Super Visa:

Hmmm in here you are not creating a GC Key neither a myCIC account, you are creating a checklist. So now I am confused.

BTW the link you provided helps little as there are too many questions that need to be asked with your specifics. Please paste a screenshot of the screen where the question under discussion appears.

Once this process is done, an application checklist is given which is said to be input into MyCIC account. Once you do that, the same check list appears in CIC account and allows for upload of documents. (I hope I am following the right steps for Super Visa application)

My father got the supervisa in February 2013 for 1 year and 9 months. Actually his passport is going to expire in Dec 2014. He came to Canada in Aug 2013 and got the entry till Aug 2015 (2 year entry). Now i've his 10 year renewed passport. And i want to renew his visa before he leaves Canada.

Now my quesiton is :

Can i apply online ? If yes, How will they stamp the visa on his passport. (Remember i am talking about the sticker we get on passport).

Please help

Thanks. That remark "*all fields are mandatory" refers to the fact that you have to answer all the questions. For example, in here you must check at least one of the checkboxes that apply to your case.

As a side note I would recommend that if you have more than one of those documents you submit them. Yes NOA is a great document but no harm on sending more support documents, for example if you recently got a salary increase you can show your paystubs it to further prove you are more than capable of achieving LICO. I think for Self employed people 1 and 5 are a must, as NOA gives certainty about your past but the accountant letter will give certainty of your present.

Why? Did his Super visa expire?

Yes...They gave him visa till his passport expiry which is dec 2014. Now he has a new passport.

Then the answer is NO. His Super Visa will expire on December 2014.

The thing is you can't have two valid documents at a time , so you will have to wait until Super Visa nears to expire and then reapply. This will get you a new "sticker" in the passport. But this doesn't allow him to stay longer than his original entry stated.

If you want him to stay longer you will have to apply for an extension of the Super Visa, you can do this online. You will receive a document stating he is allowed to stay until a certain date.
