In present situation, what is much better upon applying to extend a Work Permit?

ONLINE APPLICATION or PAPER APPLICATION?

I prefer mail application.

Using Canada Post's Registered Mail option, you can track your mail and know if your mail has been received. I'm more confident that the package will arrive at its destination.

I used it when I applied for WP extension and gave me no worries. And when they got it, thats when I started counting the days.

I haven't tried using online application though - not that satisfied with all the traffic and other online issues.

I guess its your choice. ;D

based from my experience it is more quick in online application i apply last december 1 thru online and last january 13 i already recieve my new work permit,so i think its better thru online as long as you follow all the instruction and requirements.

Date sent: Feb 16, 2010
Date received in Alberta: Feb 18 2010
Date approved/issued: Apr 06 2010

Mine was the work permit with the same employer. Counting the days on my application, it fell on CIC's processing time range.
