Hello,
I am going to apply for a visa online but I got several questions here needed to be solved out.

1. Do I have to submit every document with required message? In case I didn't submit all, do I need to submit Letter of Explanation instead?
2. I'm going there for 15 days visiting my friend after USA but I haven't bought any ticket yet. Would it be fine?
3. Do I have to electronically sign in IMM5257 and IMM 5646? Or I can just leave it blank as I have to sign electronically after I press 'submit' all documents to cic.
4. There is a proof of relationship. My friend has written me a letter of invitation and I submitted pdf file that contains invitation letter from my friend and his scanned passport into an invitation letter section. Did I correctly upload it into the right section? If not an invitation letter, what could be a proof of relationship between me and my friend?
5. For proof of means of financial, as I am a student, what should I upload into? Could it be the same sponsorship letter?

So far, here are my questions that I could think about. I would be appreciate if you can give me an exact answer. Thank you

I m not expert but i helped someone to fill out the application and for my experience.
1) yes, if you dont, i think your application would not be submitted.
2) I dont think its is necessary, but you can provide itinerary or airplane reservation
3) the only form that can be electronically sign is the IMM5257, No idea About IMM5646 (Not in our case)
4) The letter of invitation has its own spot to upload. There is a proof a relationship because you selected before that you have a relatives in canada. I dont think that a friend is a relative, i dont understand how you got it. The proof a relationship is usually or sibling or parents, so you can provide a birth certificate.
5) you have to proof that you have sufficient money ( like bank statement).

hope that helps.
