ONLINE APPLICATION IN PHILIPPINES

Hi,

i would like to know the real timeline or should i say the estimated time of processing for online TRV. I had TRV before they issued me multiple entry but its already expired so i need to renew it again with my husband this time. I applied before in RCBC plaza (embassy of canada) where i did walk-in and have my passport back the next day (as airline staff/cabin crew base ). But now, since they changed the processing,they told me to have it ONLINE instead ???
QUESTIONS ARE:
1. Today,i submitted my online application , how long does it usually takes to have a reply from them if I needed to submit some documents, medical cert or Status result? :-X

2. If the status is Approved and Requiring to submit passport to VAC (makati), is there any specific dates that it must be submitted?
for im still in Saudi and will be home in Manila last week of MAY :'(

3. Upon, submission of passport for VISA stamp. how long will they take it? I will be home May 27(tuesday) and our departure to Newyork with 4 days canada stay(hopefully) is MAY 31(saturday)--------------------------------------THANK YOU GUYS! i know its a short notice application

Did you specify in your application your country where applying to be in the Philippines (Question #9 in form IMM5257E)? this is important since your answer here will be the basis of where your application will be process...thus processing times depends on this also...

once you received an email in your myCIC requesting for passport submission, you have 30 days to either submit to the nearest VAC office (Makati or Cebu). Instructions are written in the letter you will receive from CIC.

THANKS KEWL. yes, i stated that though Im base in Saudi, i will apply in Philippines.

so in case I will not have the time to submit my passport in Liue to my Newyork departure on MAY 31, i can still submit my passport 30days after they asked me to submit it. right?

anyhow, im still wondering if its possible to submit it within the 1 or 2 working days since they will only stamp the visa. or else can I talk to them or make a request letter to have my passport back. still hoping for fastest way.. thanks

This is the exact message from the letter of CIC

"Your passport must be received by Citizenship and Immigration Canada within 30 days from the date of this letter. Failure
to do so could result in the refusal of your application. Please ensure that a copy of this letter is included with your
passport."

when I submitted my passport to VFS Riyadh, it took only three days to have my passport back with the visa..I would assume that's the same timeline in any VFS offices..your concern mainly is how close your intended travel date from the passport request letter..if you received it 5 days before I think it's still doable..but lower than that I should be worried I wont get my passport ontime....

my advise?? if you can resked your US trip for few more days until you have the canadian visa on your passport..

working as SV FA? I once took an RUH-JFK-RUH flight and pinay FAs onboad were so nice :-*

Yes. I might move our Canada trip. We can't jeopardize our US iterinary since the application for Canada was too tight for our planned vacation. Anyhow.. Since May 12 I haven't received any updates from CIC. STILL its Open.

Yup I'm from SV. And I'm flying US every month most of filipina are flying this sector. Thanks
