Online Application - Eligibility end date error

It was a good thing to know that citizenship process has been made available online as well. Overall, I believe the process of filling in the application is simple enough except for this issue that I've been facing.

I have issues with the Eligibility end date.

Let us say, my Eligibility end date from the calculator says below. Accordingly I have input 11-Sept-2021 in my on-line application. My application date is 12-Sept-2021

"Your eligibility period is 2016-09-12 to 2021-09-11, you will need this for your application form."

The page says 'Invalid date'

Make sure the end date of your physical presence is 1 day before you submit your application.

• Recalculate your physical presence(opens in new tab)
• Upload the new calculation.
• Resubmit your application.

I am not sure where am I making an error.

I think this is because you can't fill in a date in the future. Try with today's date as the application date and yesterday's date as end date and that should work.

Thank you. Yes it worked. I thought since the physical calculator was accepting a future date, the online application would also accept the same future date assuming that the person is not traveling abroad.
