Hello everyone
I received a provincial nomination to apply for PR through the Ontario PhD stream. When I was applying for the Ontario nomination, I was confused about the NOC of my job. I called the Ontario OINP office and they told me not to worry since the nomination is based on the PhD degree and to put my best guess of the NOC. I was surprised that the NOC appeared on the nomination certificate. I called again and they said that my nomination is not related to the NOC and NOC could change if I change work for example. I'm a bit worried about applying for the PR due to the NOC issue. Should I explain that I provided this NOC to the best of my ability and that I received my nomination based on the PhD? I would appreciate your feedback in this regard.
Regards
