Hi,

I received ITA a month back. I have all my documents ready. Following is my situation.

Candidate – CEC

Score – 460 + 600 (From ONIP)

ITA Expiry date: 30 August 2017

ONIP Expiry date: 3 July 2017

Now on 3 July my ONIP is going to expire. I can submit my documents before then and according to current stats , I expect my Passport request by October 1.

Query:

I am getting married in November. If I go ahead and submit my documents, I will get passport request by October. Hence my spouse will be missed out from application.

Please advice

1. Should I let my ONIP expire and submit my document after 1 month?

2. Can I ask ONIP to extend my nomination. If yes will they consider this a valid argument?

3. Previously we have observed that candidates get Passport request in 4-5 months. Now it’s in 3 months. After getting passport request can I keep it awaiting for 2-3 months and then can add my spouse mean while?

Any pointers will be helpful. Please advice

Thanks in advance,
