One Year bar

For PRRA condition is one year bar since the decision.
Is it one year since IRB decision or RAD decision or since Federal decision? Thank you.

The last/final decision - so that would be the Federal decision if it went to the Federal level.

But how can a person stay in Canada for one year? As far as I believe, once the federal court decides. It must, he/she should leave the country.

Doesn't CBSA contact for leaving?
If they, how is it possible to extend the stay for one year, to apply for PRRA?

The only remaining option to stay in Canada legally would possibly be a visa extension application, assuming that a visitor visa is still held.

thank you for sharing the info. They do revoke other status, as soon as you claim refugee. Therefore, I was wondering. How is it possible to spend 1year in Canada till PRRA.
I want to know that.

I am so confused... I met few lawyer around... they are giving me different answers.
One Year Bar since main claim rejection from IRB and rest One Rear Bar since RAD rejection.

Under the new system, the access to the PRRA will be as follows: You are NOT eligible for the PRRA for one year (12 months) following a final negative refugee claim decision by the IRB (rejection at the RAD, or at RPD if you did not go to the RAD) or a negative PRRA decision.
