One strong employment reference and one weak employment reference question

Hi everyone,

I've been struggling with my employment reference letters and really looking forward to the extremely helpful people in this forum to share the experience and advices.

I've received my ITA 3 weeks ago. In my EE profile for the work history section I had declared 2 work experiences with 2 different employers: 2 years 9 months with Employer A and 3 years 2 months with Employer B.

Employer B is my most recent employer and they are extremely supportive in everything I request. I have their work reference letter, contracts, payslips, promotion letter... everything to claim that I had worked for them for 3 years 2 months.

Employer A is the opposite. I started working with them 6 years ago so now almost no one in the company knows me, and HR is extremely unsupportive. I also don't have many documents to back up because it's such a long time ago. Employer A also goes through a merging recently, changing name, changing logo, changing address. Thus of all the very few documents I kept when I was working there (promotion letter, bonus letter, end of contract letter), the logo, name and address was completely different. Recently they did issue me a employment reference letter after my begging, with the new name, logo and new address. I'm thinking of submitting only the reference letter without any other documents to avoid confusion but I'm not sure if it's the way to go.

The thing is the points I've got for my ITA is already maximum with 3 years experience. Even if I have more than 4 years or 5 years, points won't increase after 3 years. For that purpose Employer B is already good enough with 3 years and 2 months experience and I have a very strong case with them to back up. But Employer A's evidence for now is very weak. Does anyone know any case that when 1 work experience is rejected by CIC and the other work experience is accepted, then as long as the total time exceeds 3 years it would fulfill the requirement?

Or because I had declared 2 different work experience with 2 employers, I have to be successful in proving and backing both of them, and if one fails, then all of them fail??

I've worried a lot because I only have confidence in the evidence by Employer B. I really don't want to fail the whole application just because one stupid Employer A experience which doesn't even affect or decrease my total points as I already satisfied the 3 year period with Employer B.

Greatly appreciate anyone sharing the same experience or have any advice on this. Thank you so much for your help.

For Employer A: Include everything and mention in the Letter of Explanation that company changed names, logo or whatever. The best way is to show Income Tax Returns (if in India), you cannot fake the documents generated when you submit Tax Returns or when you get Form 16 from your employer.

One of my employers changed the name recently and I have the reference letter from April, however, I did include everything from pay slips to contract letters as this build my case that I was the genuine employee.

CIC expects things not to be perfect. In my opinion, if everything is fine....Sometimes it is so good to be true. I doubt MNCs give this type of reference letter as per the requirements.

Please include all the information rather than hiding things which they will come to know anyhow later. Say for Employer A Visa Officer Googles your Company and comes to know when you were working there company name was different. Won't it raise eyebrows then? So it's better you tell them rather than they finding it out!

I have given every document which I think was important including Form 16, ITR and Payslips

Also I am not an expert, I will wait for Stanlee and Asvaid or Krtyon to reply...they seem more experienced with all this CIC stuff

Companies change names or are purchased or sold all the time. Just put together what you have and one explanation on the top. You can include something of the following:
1. Newspaper information about changing name or merging
2. Information from the official business register (usually there is take over of the company written in the business register).
3. Official letter or information from the company itself about changing the name.
