hi just wondering if anyone could help me with one last thing. We have received the passport with the VISA sticker and the confirmation paper because we have to enter canada next week.

Just to confirm these are the ONLY 2 THINGS I NEED

Also, whats going on with the PR CARD? I was told that it will be sent to a canadian address (unfortunately I must leave after 1 week only in Canada before returning next year)

So if my sponsors family receives it, can they send me the CARD? How long is this valid for? If they cant send me the PR CARD, do i need a travel document the next time I come to Canada?

Also, why does the CONFIRMATION OF PR STATUS SAY 2012 expiry?

ps, how are the interviews in the airport? what do they ask? are they hard? What do I need to have in my hand to show the immigration officers..

thanks so much

Yes you can provide your sponsors family home address to CBSA agent at the airport, and they will mail your PR card at that address. Later your sponsor family can mail that card to you in order to re-enter in Canada.

At the airport, it is not an interview. They just want you to verify your name address, and other things. They will ask you if you have any dependent that you didn't mention on your application ( now this will be the last chance for you to declare any dependents if you want to sponsor them in future).

Expiry date of 2012 means, that your PR (or landing) visa is valid till that date. Once you land, that visa is null and void and you need PR card or travel document to re-enter in Canada. generally PR cards are valid for 5 year from the date of issue. Hope this helps and good luck.
