Hello Guys;

I am close to apply for my citizenship application as I will complete my 1095 days by the end of September and I know that the new will be implemented by 2015 so I will be eligible to apply for it.

I have been out of Canada for almost one continuous year in my native country for family reasons, but following this year I have been here in Canada for 3 years unless couple of weeks for holidays.

I am working full time for these 3 years and I have been filing my tax every year.
Here is my question: Is the first year that I was out of Canada may affect my application?

All your responses are highly appreciated.

As long as you have 1095 days of residency in Canada out of the last four years before you apply for citizenship - you can apply. Any weeks of holidays you take during the three years will naturally have to be subtracted from the 1095 days.
