My Fiance went on student visa to Canada in Jan 2012 for his post graduation.Now he has work permit till January 2014.We are getting married in April 2013.My query is what visa should I apply so that I can accompany him back to Canada after wedding.Please help whether open work permit visa or TRV or visitor visa should be applied and how long will the application take to process.PLease help.I am from India and have Indian citizenship and so does my fiance.

You said his work permit is good till January 2013 and you get married in April 2013.
It will depend on if he gets an extension on his work permit as his current one expires before you get married.
If he gets an extension then you would have to apply for a regular TRV (showing your husband's status in Canada, his job and funds available to support himself and you while in Canada etc).
Not sure about the open work permit. You might be able to apply for it with your TRV or once you get to Canada.
Perhaps someone who has gone through this can shed more light on it.
