on lmo with closed work permit

hello everyone
i have come to canada on lmo on a closed work permit .But now i want to change employer .Want to know what is the procedure and how lond will it take ,and is it difficult to find another employer.Also if i want to convert my closed work permit to open one is it possible.Please help me .thank you in advance.

No - unfortunately you cannot convert your closed work permit into an open work permit.

If you wish to switch to another employer, your new employer will first have to obtain a new approved LMO. Once the LMO is approved, you will have to apply for a new closed work permit.

So the first step is finding a new employer who can obtain a new LMO.
