Hi friends

I have applied for the Express entry and have received nomination for Ontario Nomination program.I had added work experience of my first company which has now shut down and I was unaware of it . Hence i will be unable to provide the necessary paperwork for it.I though would be providing work experience for the rest of my companies which ends up to 4.5 years . Now should I remove the job and create a new express entry and job bank . If so would I get the nomination once again. Otherwise if I provide a letter from a former colleague will that suffice. I do have the work experience relieving letter and few salary slips.Please help as Im in real dilemma what to do.

The letter from your old contact along with payslips, job contract T4, tax returns, and evidence the company closed should suffice.

I am facing same concern. But i managed to obtain reference letter on letterhead since this closed employer had old letterheads with him.

For the evidence part, if he (owner of the closed emplyement) writes that he has closed his operations on the company's letterhead, will thay suffice?

in lieu of docs, I have reference letter, offer letter, work experience letter and payslips to submit.

I was in the same situation. I provided what ever documents I had from old company and also a new reference letter from my manager whom I managed to contact personally and got a letter on a plain letter head.

I also wrote a letter of explanation and explain a situation. It worked for me as i received nomination.

Contact your old boss if possible. Otherwise provide every possible document. Xtra documenta no harm but incomplete document is a strict no no hope u understand.
