You were all very nice to answer previous questions. Can I please get clarification on the following.

My Jamaican husband has two old minor possession charges in Jamaica (2005 and 2006). He does have a letter of expungement. I think it was mentioned that the letter may or may not represent rehabilitation if it was one charge. I believe I was told that waiting until December which I presume coincides with forgiveness of those charged here?

At any rate, should we wait on the visa application or go ahead now?

Many thanks.

I'm not sure if I should take this personal. I'll form another question if you please.

He cannot find a record in Jamaica at this time. He was denied entry to US 10 some years ago as it was on record. The big change in Jamaica was 2015. Change was not legal per se, but ... well ... there were some words put to the Ganga. It is unclear, but it does appear the record shows. Stay tuned ...

The punchline is that there are realities and travel is complex. He had used Panama to launch to Mexico for our holiday. Next ... no visa needed for Panama ... lets do it. Booked paid. It matters not, but that US denial surfaced.

That felt cathartic ... thank you so much. I learned a lot from reading threads for others and admire your prudence, knowledge and diplomacy.
