Dear Friends
Please I want to know if I have H1B visa for USA this can help me to fast track my immigration to Canada? and Can I claim more points using it? I have read this on candavisa.com
Currently on an H1B Visa?
You may be able to qualify for fast-track Canadian immigration under one of the Provincial Nomination Programs (PNP), such as the U.S. Visa Holder Category of the Strategic Recruitment Stream of the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP), or under the Federal Skilled Worker category of Canadian immigration.

Canada has always favoured immigrants with North American training and work experience. It makes sense because that's what Canadian employers prefer. The good news is that you do not require a job offer from a Canadian employer in order to qualify for a Canada Immigration (Permanent Resident) Visa. The even better news is that you can count on fast-track priority processing of your application

Thanks in advance

1. You have an application in progress, so an H1B has absolutely no effect on it.
2. There is only 1 PNP program Alberta that has an H1B process. You have to have experience in one of the criteria to be considered. http://www.albertacanada.com/immigration/media/h1b_AINP_Occupations_Under_Pressure_List.pdf and you have to have been working in the US on the visa for 1 year.
3. The present processing time for Alberta is 12 months without a job offer, plus the Federal processing time.
