Dear all,

I am planning to apply for OINP nomination once it reopens later in the year. Would like to be prepared with all the required documents, so looking for advice on what documents do I need to start arranging in order to submit my application.

Thanks

Good to know that I am not alone ;D Sure, we can help each other. May I know at what stage of the application process are you currently at?

I am another one in the boat. Curious with the thought of the updated requirements for OINP, read somewhere they might increase the cut off for OINP to 450. I am waiting with CRS 429 :'(

Hi guys,
I have a few questions regarding OINP financial status
1. I dont have enough funds in my account, if my parents send me 15000 dollars then would that be okay? Or I was thinking to transfer money in my account in installments of 2000-3000 dollars every week.
2. Does they check your credit score or balances on credit cards?
Thanks for the help in advance.

dude trust me they will not increase it to 450, if they increase to 450 no one will apply for OINP coz they will get direct ITA.. my estimate is they will probably increase to 420 or 425, will definitely not be more than that... however - if they go NOC based like other provinces, then a lot of hopes will be dashed... hope that isnt the case.

yeah parents sending should be fine... but you will need to create some document called gift deed... there are some threads on gift deeds - you can check them out.
see OINPs main aim is to see that you have not taken a loan for this... and the funds are liquid funds which can be withdrawn at a moments notice...

Thank you so much stunner.
One last question:
Other than my credit cards, I have a line of credit and I am using like 5000 dollars from there. Do I need to pay off that first or it's okay to leave it like that?

i dont think they check your credit history lol... but if you are in canada, i think they will... whether they have access to this information or not is a different story.

I am done with IELTS and will probably receive ECA by 15th of November and will create a profile after that. My CRS score is 428.

Awesome...let's stay connected

Hi Guys,

I had a small query.
While filling up the EE profile. in the experience field, we dont have a column for 3 to 4 years.
Its either 2 to 3 years, or 4 to 5 years.
I am someone with 3.5years of experience. and for 3+ years we get 50 CRS points.
Can someone suggest something on this please?

Waiting for ontario to open. you guys know if ontario will open a family stream for 2017?
