Hi

I contacted OINP at their contact number and asked them about documentation to prove my ties to Ontario (I have sibling and many friends) and the lady answered that I need to attach photographs of me with my sibling and friends as to prove my Ties to Ontario.

1. Anyone in a similar situation being Nominated by OINP having sibling? Do you really need to provide pics?

2.What proofs were attached to prove Friends in Ontario?

3. I told her that my DD from India was valid only for 3 months and will expire by Feb 12th,she said if it its not valid when they try to cash it ,they will return the application and yes they will not process in Dec-Jan,it puts me and many others like me in a fix?

Please reply

If they asked you to submit pics with your siblings then you should attach those and send them asap.
You can attach your childhood pictures with your siblings as well as some pictures in which they can recoginze faces of your siblings and you. You can also add some additional documents like "birth certificates of you amd your siblings" or "child registerstion certificate for you and your siblings as well" or family registeration certificate. Which prove your relation with your siblings. And also attach self decleration statements from your friends in which they will mention that they know you and they will support you when you will arrive in Canada, these documents should be with their signatures and utility bills. Also send some pictures of your friends who are Canadian permanent resident or citizen.

Don't worry about DD. In my opinion they will ask you new DD in later stage if they needed. And in case if they sent your application back they will give you additional time to send you application back with fresh DD.

Main thing is you just have to provide enough proof of ties with ontario. If you send them recommended doxuments they will hopefully consider those.

No ties to Ontario or Canada. Nothing to submit. I just wrote them an honest intent letter and settlement plan. I did my research and it took around a week to perfect the settlement plan+intent letter.

Hope I get through this :) .
