OINP received today

Hello canadavisa family,

I just received a PT from Ontario today. do you think I should consider it or wait for ITA.

My score is 462, according to some members I might be selected by October.

Which process you think will take more time ? does it help to be selected by a province to speed up EE process especially the documents verifications, background check...

Please share your thoughts.

I guess you speak French. At the snail's pace OINP is going, I think you can wait for an ITA.

A provincial nomination won't speed up the process PR application process. So just get the federal ITA.

Yes I do speak french, but its sad to know that the PNP wont speed up the process, since Ontario will check anyways. Except the medical results and the PCC.

This will allow them also to focus on the other EE candidates.

Personally, I would go for the OINP nomination. Either the draw scores go down and you get it either way, or they don't and you need this. Given how slow OINP is going, I feel like you won't waste anything except some time by applying - you can always withdraw your application.
