Guys, are we suppose to upload OINP certificate post ITA ? And how many days does it take to receive Nominee certificate after you get nomination ? I am a CEC applicant in Toronto and I got nomination on Jan 6th and I got ITA on 11th. I am not sure if we need to upload the certificate, as I think all details are filled and I am just left to upload all documents.

This is optional and MAY speed up your process, but it's not required so you're OK going ahead with it.

Thanks for the response g126. How many days it takes to receive the certificate though?

Hi, I went through the hours route - i met more than the 1,560 hours stated in their application guidelines. i'm trying to stay positive about getting nominated but its difficult. Its more frustrating thinking of the possibility of getting denied after waiting over one year (as against their 90 days processing timelines)

Hi, but did you meet 1,560 hours calculating the number of working hours as 30 per week?

i worked at least 40 hours a week (50 hours thereabouts actually but my organisation said they wouldn't put that in the reference letter and will just stick to 40hours. we werent paid overtime, just the way the job was - long hours). anyways calculating 40 hours a week, i had at least 1,920 hours

No, not like that. How many hours did you get to work in week 52? Or the last week in your one year. Is it 30 hours or more? CIC doesn't consider more than 30 hours a week ,to compensate for non working hours/days. So, even if you work for 40 hours in the week 51 and and 20 hours in week 52, it doesn't get cancelled out , you still have a defecit. Hope this helps you. Cheers!!

It doesn't work like that... Think of it as two requirements: total volume of hours and total duration or period worked. Both need to be met and are not mutually exclusive.

So you must show you've worked for more that 12 months, working at least 30 hours a week.... If you've worked less that 30 hours week then it's considered part time (so long as it's more that 15 hours a week) and you must show 24 months.

You case you've worked 40 hours a week, you have managed to surpass the total number of hours needed but have you been employed for at least 12 months?

Hey guys how is everything?
Can you share the link for timelines so we can see how much time it takes between additional docs and nomination.
An other questions.. did you pay for your pr and immigration process after ita? Is it an online paiement? OR is there other ways to pay it ?
ANd what about medicals? IS it possible to pass medicals after sending the documents?
Cheers

Your above queries suggest you already got your Nomination! Is that true?

I have the same issue, they sent me the invitation on Dec4th 2015, so I waited until Jan 15th to send my application, but apparently OINP counts the time from the date they sent the invitation to apply with them, but that's stupid.

Yes... for OINP is the date you received the PT... for IRCC is the date you received your ITA. :(

I suppose they have to pick a cut off date that is kind of neutral so that people don't purposely delay the submission of their documents to get a few extra days... the invite date seems neutral enough, it could be worse... it could be the date you created your EE profile.

To me the fairest would be the ADR... they send you an ADR for payslips 10 months after you've submitted everything and you can clearly prove you're still employed at that stage they SHOULD consider your WE up to that date... But they make the rules and what's mos unfortunate for all that have not received a NoM yet is that the 2016 quote has been used up so they're bound to be extra picky from now one to really try and disqualify as many people as they can.

AGENT007 missed the mark by ONE day!!! That's the toughest break I've seen so far...

I really hope you guys can find a way to satisfy their concerns and turn your PFLs into NoMs, as having waited for so long you deserve at least that! Good luck!

Guys..any update from OINP
Forever waiting for ADR :(

I am still waiting to collect the new docs they asked for
As am travelling... it takes so long.
THat s why am asking to know what to expect
So the question is do you have to pass medicals to submit the documents they ask you after ita ir youncsn submit the documents first .. then pass the medicals later?
And how much time did you wautnafter sending complementary documents to recieve your nomination
Thanks guys
