1. I believe OINP opened all applications received till 9th May and returned incomplete applications.
2. Majority of the applicants Jan...Mar..Apr.. have received reviewed and accepted message.
3. The max no of applicants are not going to exceed 6ooo
4. 10800 Nom's for all streams are available with OINP for 2015 / 2016. Officially report stated 870 noms were issued till 31 Dec 2015.
5. Now it's high time to start issuing NOM's simultaneously with AOR's for remaining applicants.

I doubt they could use 2015 quota in 2016.

Each year the federal government determines the number of nominations Ontario can issue. In 2015, that number is 5,200. Of these, 2,700 nominations must be used under Ontario Express Entry.
Ontario is allowed to select 5,500 through the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) in 2016.

I have sent my application on 22nd Jan 2016, but I have not received any AOR yet. Last week (Thursday) I sent an email to know my application status and I have not received any response yet. Any has idea why is it so ? Previously when I sent email for application status I have received response very next day..

you should receive your AOR this week. just be patient

There is no clarity whether the NOM's assigned for 2015 by IRCC can't be used for 2016? OINP / God alone knows the best.
In such a scenario 2700 for 2016 + 2700 for 2017 can be utilized.

last month I sent an email to OINP regarding the status of my application.
They replied me saying " We have reviewed and accepted the application and put your application in queue for further processing."

I am wondering, whether they opened my application or finished processing the application and waiting for file number.
Can someone explain what will be next process.

Murali86: Your application packet opened. The documents were found complete and a message of reviewed and accepted mailed to you.

Now patiently wait for your turn to get the AOR receipt number and acknowledgment of your DD receipt.

It shows receipt date of the application as 21st January.

I've received the attachment along with an email saying the application is "deemed complete" but they require a new bank draft which I will prepare today and send to them.

Hi there,

I have a couple of questions. I am a January applicant I am pretty sure I wont get nominated before nov and my permit expires on NOV 30th.

Do I need to have a valid status during the process. seems like bridging WP and visitors visa wont get approved. So do I need to apply for student visa at this time?? will the restoration status work??
Yes, it is applicant's responsibility to maintain the legal status in Canada being a CEC applicant.

And I reside in Alberta. Do I need to move to Ontario during my nomination??
No. But you may have to provide very good explanation that why are you choosing Ontario over Alberta.
Please advise.

They have opened your application and found all documents in place. Your AOR is on its way. After AOR, those documents will be verified and then nomination. Have patience
